Integral Life

The key to a happy and successful practice is happy and successful staff.  We work hard to make sure that we are all fulfilling our potential, both as individuals and as a team. 


Training
We hold a “learning lunch” every Monday when we have outside speakers talking on everything from pile design to asbestos awareness or we exchange knowledge within the practice, reviewing projects or reporting back on a piece of research or training. 

Each individual has a set of personal objectives which are reviewed every six months with the Directors.

Company Day
We have an annual company day when we take time to consider what we have achieved as a practice over the past year and set ourselves some goals, both long and short term.  This is a very valuable chance to draw breath and remind ourselves of a bigger picture than simply the next project deadline.

Fun Stuff
We make sure that we go away as a team once a year.  In the past we have been yachting, foraging, canoeing, caving, cooking and camping.  This year we went to repair a drystone wall in Exmoor. The recent worrying trend towards distance running is compensated by pub lunches on Fridays.
