Great news for Integral and congratulations to our Associate Chris Gross who has achieved the accreditation Conservation Accredited Engineer.
The Conservation Accreditation Register for Engineers has been established by the ICE and IStructE for those who wish to demonstrate a defined level of competency in the application of conservation within the construction process, individuals need to have advanced conservation attributes. Chris has worked on many conservation projects alongside his new build experience and this successful application ratifies what we, and many of his clients, know that he is an accomplished, conscientious engineer. Below are some of Chris’s thoughts on the process.
“Getting my CARE accreditation is the culmination of many months work putting together my case studies, CV and philosophy of conservation for the application. I enjoyed the process as it allowed me to review the work I had accomplished on projects over the last few years and highlighted how much experience I had gained. Following submission of the application there is an interview to sit. The interview was thorough and was used to test the limits of my knowledge. As a professional engineer you are sometimes asked questions that you don’t know the answer to, and the interview was no different, but the important thing is to know where to go to find the answer so that you can solve the problem and also expand your knowledge in the process.” – Chris Gross
