Joe is an engineer working on a variety of projects in the Bath office. A passionate advocate of sustainability, his interest lies in low carbon building design and spearheads the companies sustainable design agenda. Joe also manages and maintains the company IT infrastructure and sits on the technology group looking at industry innovations.
Graduating with a first class honours degree in 2013 from the University of Bath, he was awarded the Charlie Wymer prize for design flair. Joe returned to the university for a year to study for a PHD in low carbon materials, which he received in 2017 and joined Integral shortly after. As an engineer Joe works on a variety of projects ranging from conservation, visitor centres, theatres and healthcare, working on both the RNHRD and Therapies Centre and Dyson Cancer Care at the Royal United Hospitals in Bath. Joe has kept ties to the university and remains a visiting tutor providing advice and critiquing on third year design projects for the Department of Architecture and Civil Engineering. Currently undertaking his professional review, he is looking forward to leading more project and continuing to champion low carbon options.
In his free time Joe can be found either climbing at the local cliffs or in the workshop producing his own skis for the next winter season, a hobby that seems to have no distinct advantages over buying skis like normal people!
