Sam Cameron

Graduate Engineer

Sam is a recent graduate from the University of Southampton with a passion for design which brings real value to communities. His primary interest is the design of energy efficient structures, such as Passivhaus buildings, and the importance of sustainable design to reduce our impact on the environment. Starting at Integral in 2019 he is excited to expand his technical knowledge and skills as an engineer, using new structural analysis and CAD software.

Before joining Integral, Sam completed a placement with an engineering consultancy in London. This experience gave him the opportunity to look at a wide range of different projects, from the design of new educational buildings to an investigation into the implementation of SUDS on a number of sites.

Sam has signed up with the Institution of Structural Engineers as a graduate engineer starting his journey to professional accreditation. He hopes his willingness to learn will provide lots of opportunity to work on a wide range of projects at Integral developing his knowledge and skills to support him in achieving his chartership.

Sam is a sporting enthusiast in a number of sports. He plays and follows football when he gets the chance, and also participates in table tennis, squash and the occasional run. In the summer months he enjoys attending music festivals.
