CARE

Integral are pleased to announce that Director Margaret Cooke has successfully gained a place on the Conservation Accreditation Register for Engineers (CARE). The register identifies 36 civil and structural engineers in the UK skilled in the conservation of historic structures and sites. Members have to have followed a rigorous approval procedure to confirm their appreciation of disciplines and interests extending well beyond their professional training as engineers and demonstrated that they are fully conversant with conservation philosophy and methods which apply to heritage projects.

CARE is administered by ICE and IStructE, and is recognised by English Heritage, Cadw in Wales , Historic Scotland, NIEA (Northern Ireland) and relevant professional bodies.
