Sustainability is a core value and has been part of the Integral journey from day one. We are committed to achieving the best outcome for our client’s projects and reduce our carbon footprint wherever possible. We have developed our own carbon counting methodology and invested in research to show the benefits of re-use rather than new buildings.

Our project portfolio is diverse and varied and we are particularly proud of our work in the conservation sector, supported by our having two CARE accredited conservation engineers.

We support our team and provide opportunity to continually develop their skills so they are the best they can be and offer a healthy training budget for individuals (renewed annually). As a practice we have a regular learning session on Mondays and plenty of opportunities within the working week to disseminate knowledge. We encourage individuals to attend seminars and events and share their knowledge with the rest of the team.

Integral are approved by the ICE and IStructE to mentor graduate employees to achieve their professional qualification and several team members work with local universities to help and support the next generation of engineers.

We enjoy getting together as a team and opportunities for this include an annual business day and an away day – occasions which provide shared experiences and for us to tr something new!

Integral allocate an annual budget to support charities that are chosen by and important to the team. Over the last two years we have supported homeless charities, charities working with young people and local food banks.

We offer flexibility in the working day and to working patterns including hybrid working within a fantastic working environment. Both offices are open plan city centre locations with great access to public transport. The range of company benefits includes defined contribution pension and cycle to work schemes.
