Engineer

Sophie is a diligent engineer working with the team in our London office on a variety of refurbishment and conservation projects. She is eager to complete her chartership and looks forward to opportunities that deepen her knowledge of innovative, sustainable construction methods and applying what she learns to her future designs.

Sophie has a keen interest in the environmental aspects of structural engineering, the use of sustainable materials and low carbon design. She graduated from the University of Bath in 2013 and brings experience of designing timber structures and working with historic buildings.

Combining her love of musical theatre, illustration and painting, Sophie creates original and bespoke portraits of theatres and homes to sell at local markets and on Etsy. When not holding a pencil or paintbrush she enjoys “treading the boards” whenever she can.
