The new Tunbridge Wells Civic Centre features a large underground car park with a complicated geometry and highly unbalanced loads.

To design an efficient solution to this unique challenge, it was important to analyse the structure holistically which necessitated some of the biggest finite element models Integral have undertaken to date. By undertaking this level of analysis it has allowed us to reduce the concrete used in the structure by roughly 450m3 equivalent to 120 tonnes of C02!
