Amanda Constantinesco

MEng (Hons) CEng MIStructE

Amanda joined Integral in 2019 and is involved in the design and management on a diverse range of projects, including new build and conservation, from concept to completion. As an Associate Engineer she takes the engagement and technical lead on projects working from our London office.

Achieving a first class honours degree in 2010 Amanda gained her professional qualifications in 2015 with the Institution of Structural Engineers. With a strong interest in low carbon design, retrofit and conservation Amanda is also a member of SPAB and currently working towards her CARE accreditation which will broaden our specialist knowledge within the London office. Her passion is to breathe new life into old structures – renovating or chasing the use of buildings that were designed decades ago and turning them to completely new purposes for modern practical use.

Amanda enjoys working in a team to become a partner in design, rather than a necessity in the design process. Her aim is to understand a building, its purpose and context – whether new or existing, to be able to contribute far more to the design than just the nuts and bolts.

Amanda is keen cyclist and enjoys hiking long distances with friends.
