Amanda joined Integral in 2019 having worked at Price and Myers for nearly 9 years since graduation, where she achieved her Chartership in November 2015. She is involved in the design and management on a diverse range of projects, including new build and conservation, from concept to completion. She takes the engagement and technical lead on projects working from the London office.
She aims to understand a building and its purpose and context to be able to contribute far more to the design than just the nuts and bolts. She enjoys working in a team to become a partner in design, rather than a necessity in the design process. Her passion is to breathe new life into old structures – renovating or chasing the use of buildings that were designed decades ago and turning them to completely new purposes for modern practical use.
A keen cyclist and when not doing DIY Amanda enjoys hiking long distances with friends. She also has a keen interest in ornithology, social history and wildlife conservation.
