Humza Kazi

Graduate Engineer

BEng (Hons) MSc

Humza is a highly motivated graduate engineer working alongside the team in our London office. Since joining Integral, Humza has been involved in the delivery of projects from concept stage up until completion. His interests lie with sustainable design and the use of natural building materials, fully supported by the practice’s endeavour to reduce carbon emission through design work. Working on a diverse range of projects at Integral he has gained practical engineering knowledge which has allowed him to begin working his way towards professional accreditation with the Institution of Structural Engineers.

Humza graduated in 2017 achieving a first class honours degree in Civil Engineering. To further his passion for buildings and design, he completed a Postgraduate MSc in Structural Engineering. He has a particular interest in structural sculptures, having modelled and analysed large timber grillage canopies and Corten steel sculptures. Humza enjoys a challenge and is driven by the idea of making a difference to society through the built environment and considering carbon in design options.

Outside work Humza plays for a football league and regularly attends matches at his local sports club. He has also taken up a recent interest in carpentry, meaning he now spends most weekends in the workshop cutting wood!
