Humza Kazi

BEng (Hons) MSc

Engineer

Humza is a highly motivated engineer working alongside the team in our London office. Involved in the delivery of projects from concept stage up until completion, his interests lie with sustainable design and the use of natural building materials, supporting our aim to reduce carbon emissions through design work. At Integral he has gained considerable experience of both new build and refurbishment projects within the education and theatre sectors and is now working on conservation projects, fascinated by historical methods of construction. Working on a diverse range of projects Humza has gained practical engineering knowledge allowing him to begin working towards professional accreditation with the Institution of Structural Engineers.

Graduating in 2017, Humza achieved a first class honours degree in Civil Engineering. To further his passion for buildings and design, he completed a Postgraduate MSc in Structural Engineering. He has a particular interest in structural sculptures, having modelled and analysed large timber grillage canopies and Corten steel sculptures. He enjoys a challenge and is driven by the idea of making a difference to society through the built environment and considering carbon in design options.

Outside work he plays for a football league and regularly attends matches at his local sports club. He has acquired an interest in carpentry, meaning he now spends most weekends in the workshop cutting wood!
