Matthew co-ordinates the design and delivery of projects from our London office. He takes the lead on a wide range of projects including refurbishment and arts projects. Matthew is highly experienced in theatre projects and advocates our ongoing corporate membership of the Theatre Trust which champions the future of live performance, by protecting and supporting excellent theatre buildings to meet the needs of their communities.

Joining us in 2014 Matthew has a wide range of project experience in terms of their scale and material and is adept at leading teams and collaborating with the design team. Matthew enjoys the challenges offered by refurbishment projects and recently completed The Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, which features an elegant helical staircase. He has also gained extensive experience in the arts sector, working alongside specialists to address the complex engineering required within theatres. Matthew values the importance of visual communication throughout the design process to express complex engineering concepts to the client and team. He has a keen interest is in sustainable design, where one of his specialisms is designing with cross laminated timber (CLT).

Outside of the office Matthew follows cricket and endeavours to see England play at least annually. He also enjoys baking bread, with his trusty sourdough starter delivering tasty loaves a couple of times a week.
